From now on, I will divide my time into two parts: two hours in the afternoon is for German learning; five hours in the evening is for writing dissertation. Still I will leave one hour's time to prepare my research proposal and application.
2+5+1=8. eight hours time schedule. Persist! Persist! Persist!

PS: my wife said the schedule should be revised into 4+2+1+1=8. That means four hours' dissertation writing plus one hour's internet surfing. She is right! However, the new schedule should be 4+2+2=8. One more hour should be added to my application.
